FAMU women’s hoops to close out non-conference schedule Friday night at North Florida

Florida A&M women’s basketball will close their non-conference slate at North Florida tomorrow night. The Rattlers are coming off a two-game road trip in Michigan, where they dropped contests to Detroit Mercy and the University of Michigan.

Non-conference Recap

The Rattlers have been tested early this season with a tough non-conference slate. The Rattlers opened up the season on the road against the University of Tennessee, losing to the Lady Vols 93-64. The Rattlers stayed in Tennessee for their matchup against Middle Tennessee, where they suffered a 93-48 loss. 

The Rattlers returned to the Sunshine State for their matchup against Florida. The Rattlers would fall to the Gators 92-54. The Rattlers picked up their first win of the season against Jacksonville. 

The Rattlers then traveled to Texas to take on Sam Houston – FAMU fell to the Bearkats 65-62. The Rattlers then wrapped up the road trip at the University of Houston, where they lost to the Courgars 79-59.
