The Golden Rams got back into the win column after defeating Carver College 91-55 at the ASU West Arena on a cold, rainy night in Albany, Georgia.
The Golden Rams were able to establish an early 44-31 advantage at the half. The Golden Rams shot 56% from the field while making 6 out of 11 3-point field goal attempts in the half.
The Golden Rams continued to shoot the ball extremely well in the 2nd half as they outscored Carver (47-22). With the win, the Golden Rams improve to 6-12 in the season.
Malik Parker led the Golden Rams with 26 points. Jordan Simpson finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Maxwell Harris and Jerome Whitaker contributed with 13 points each. Travis Baker scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in the win.
Antwon Ferrell and Stephon Auguste led Carver with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
The Golden Rams will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to play the Fort Valley State University Wildcats in a crucial SIAC match up.
