“Grateful Dead Bears” Nike Dunk Low SB- An Initial Look

This Nike Dunk Low SB is one of three pairs in tribute tribute to the Grateful Dead Bears, a series of stylized dancing bears illustrated by Bob Thomas and served as part of the back cover for the 1973 album History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One.

This particular color way sports a faux fir upper overlaid with suede. The jagged lower edge of the swoosh was inspired the collars worn by the bears on the previously referenced rear album cover. Behind the tongue is a stash pocket that can be used at your own discretion. A green midsole and blue rubber outsole completes the aesthetic.

At this juncture, a release date for these Dunks has not been announced. Information regarding these will be updated as it avails itself.
