Florida Skate Shops says its entire shipment of “Mummy” Dunk SBs were stolen

Jacksonville, Florida skate shop, Block Skate Supply was forced to cancel its release of the “Mummy” Nike SB Dunk Low due to an apparent theft. According to a story posted to the shop’s IG pages their allotment of the eagerly anticipated Dunk was pilfered in transit somewhere between Nike’s warehouse and Federal Express’s distribution center. Designed by a collective of skate shop employees, this Dunk Low SB sports a blue suede upper adorned with black-bordered white Swooshes on lateral and medial sides. “58” branding appears on the tongues and lower lateral heel. This dunk was birthed out of a collaboration between Nike Skateboarding and Ben & Jerry’s. Inspired by the company’s brightly coloured packaging , the blue and green base is overlaid by faux fir. This Nike Dunk Low SB is one of three pairs in tribute tribute to the Grateful Dead Bears, a series of stylized dancing bears illustrated by Bob Thomas and served as part of the back cover for the 1973 album History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One. The blue fury upper is a combination of mesh, leather and suede with deep royal at the lateral and medial swooshes, tongue labeling and rear branding.
