Homecoming x Nike Air Max Plus Debuts in April 2026

Founded by Grace Ladoja in 2017 the HOMECOMING (Lagos) has grown into a premier, yearly, and multi day festival that takes place in Nigeria that celebrates African music, fashion and culture.

In conjunction with the upcoming festival Nike is set to debut a duo of Air Max Plus colorways. Both kicks feature textured uppers, extra laces as well as elevated side wave structures.

One pair utilizes utilizes the red, black and green of Pan Africanism, sporting a black upper with a green Swoosh on the lateral side. Tuned Air branding is seen at the rear heel, while an image of the Motherland that features both Nike and HOMECOMING iconography is seen perched atop the tongue, on the insole as well as on one the special hangtags that adorn the sneaker.

Underneath resides a black midsole that features visible Tuned Air, as well as a black and red rubber outsole.

The second colorway features a textured , safety orange upper that fades to black on the lateral support structures that flank the foot. A small Swoosh can be seen on the lateral side, along with the same co-branded Motherland in the same locations as the black pair.

Just as with the black pair, the orange pair also offers multiple laces as well as hangtags.

An orange, black and white midsole as well as a black and orange rubber outsole.

As with the black the pair, the “Safety Orange” is anticipated to debut sometime during the 2026 HOMECOMING festival, which takes place April 2-6 in Lagos, Nigeria .
