This Air Max Plus is for the children

We recently showed a spring-themed Air Max 98 and it appears that is carried over to this Air Max Plus. Made with the children in mind, this AM Plus features a white upper overlaid by a gradient plastic that transitions from a bright green to a light blue. Orange appears on both the lateral and medial swooshes, as well as that on the tongue. Below that sits a white midsole that houses a crimson heel Air Max unit. This black and white Air Max Plus is on the way

Nike will be releasing these Air Max Plus with a spray-painted motif. This Air Max Plus features a mostly black upper with the aforementioned spray-paint transitioning to white as you travel up the shoe toward the lacing system. A black midsole and outsole of the same color complete the look of this shoe. This Air Max Plus TN SE has an imminent release at nike.com and select retail venues. “Hyper Blue” Nike Air Max Plus OG to release soon

In commemoration of the Air Max Plus’s 20th anniversary, Nike will be reintroducing classic colorways of the shoe, including the Hyper Blue version shown above. This AM Plus is outfitted in its unmistakable gradient blue upper with black support overlays. Yellow swooshes adorn both the lateral and medial sides as well on the tongue. The Nike Air Max Plus/ 97

We covered the Nike Air Max 97/Plus, which placed the 97 upper on the Air Max Plus midsole and outsole. It’s sister shoe is the Air Max Plus/97, which takes the Air Max Plus’s upper and sits it atop the midsole and outsole of the Air Max 97. The Nike Air Max Plus/ 97 will also be available October 12 on nike.com, the Nike app and at select retailers.

Since it’s initial release way back in 1998, the Air Max Plus has remained rather popular and has enjoyed a sizable following. For this latest incarnation, NikeLab put its spin on it, replacing its plastic toe bumper for a tumbled ,soft full grain leather.  You can pick these up beginning April 25 at select retailers and at nike.com/NikeLab.
