CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Johnson C. Smith University men’s basketball team in conjunction with the Wendy’s/Claude Saunders will host the 2022-23 Tipoff Classic on Friday, Nov. 25 and Saturday, Nov. 26 in historic Jack S. Brayboy Gymnasium featuring Morris College, Johnson & Wales University and Livingstone College.
The Classic schedule will start with Johnson & Wales taking on the Blue Bears of Livingstone College at 5 p.m. on Friday, followed by the Hornets and the Golden Bulls at 7 p.m.
Saturday will be a triple header as the women’s team will tip off their first home game against the Blues of Bluefield State. Tip-Off is slated for 12 noon. The Blue Bears and Hornets will go head-to-head at 2 p.m. and then JCSU will square off with the Wildcats at 4 p.m. to conclude the Classic.
