As Eurohoops already reported, Jordan Loyd and Zenit came to an agreement and the club has confirmed it officially with an announcement of a two-year deal with the player.

The American guard played 29 games in EuroLeague, averaging 17.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.2 steals.

“We are very pleased that Jordan Loyd has joined us. This is a player who has reached maturity and still has a lot of potential to move forward in his game. Glad that Jordan chose Zenit to take these steps,” coach Xavi Pascual said.

Loyd has been excited as well for the opportunity: “I’m excited to join Zenit. This is a great club, we have common goals – to win every game of every tournament. I am confident that I can contribute and help achieve team goals. I am especially glad that there were spectators in the stands last season. I look forward to joining the team,” he said.
