As reported by The Athletic’s Anthony Slater, Golden State Warriors superstar forward Kevin Durant, will not play in the team’s Wednesday game against the Houston Rockets.
Durant suffered an ankle injury in the team’s 115-111 loss to the Phoenix Suns. Monday it was reported by Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle that KD was day-to-day.
As integral as KD has been and will be to Golden State’s pursuit of a three-peat, they will likely bring him along slowly, as their most important games are to be played in May and June.
Durant is having another spectacular season, averaging 27.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists on 51.3% shooting from the floor.
