Kyrie Irving blacks out Swooshes on sneakers

Nike put their from selective and subjective morality on display when they suspended and then subsequently decided to part ways with Kyrie Irving, stemming from his decision to retweet the Amazon link to the movie, Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America, but yet somehow has not cut ties with Brett Favre of the child beater Hope Solo.

Not wanting to rep the brand on his feet for free , in a recent Nets game the star guard, not so subtlely obscured the Swooshes on his sneakers with black tape and wrote the words “Logo Here” on the lateral side of his left shoe and “I AM FREE, Thank You God… I AM” on the same location on the right shoe.

As it currently stands the star guard is a sneaker free agent, ( black-owned sneaker brands, I hope you are or will reach out to the brother) and there is no indication as to what direction Irving will go in as it relates to his footwear future.
