OKLAHOMA CITY – Chasity Veals of Langston collected her third Oklahoma Ford Dealers Sooner Athletic Conference women’s field athlete of the week in a row.
Women’s field athlete of the week: Chasity Veals | Jr. | Richardson, Texas
Chasity Veals placed second in the K.T. Woodman Classic on Friday in Wichita, Kan., in the triple jump with a leap of 39 feet, 4 inches. Veals’ mark ranks No. 4 in the NAIA on the season and placed her on the A standard list for the NAIA Championships. She finished fourth in the long jump with a mark of 17 feet, 11¾ inches.
