When Lebron James left in the third quarter of the Lakers 127-101 Christmas Day beat down of the defending champion Golden State Warriors, there was certainly cause for concern in Lakerland.
However it appears there is a collective sigh breathed in Los Angeles. That is because according to a report form Shams Charania of The Athletic, the MRI came back showing no structural damage and that Lebron will be day-to-day.
Even Lebron himself was relieved with the news from the MRI, considering he told ESPN, “With injuries, I’m never too concerned with them. I was able to walk off on my own power. I felt a pop and see if I could stretch it a few times to see if it would relieve but it didn’t. The good thing is the muscle is intact.”
The Lakers will likely sit Lebron for a few games which means he will be a spectator when the team returns to action Thursday when they face the Sacramento Kings.
