Louisiana State University is now in the market for a new Head Football Coach and an Offensive Coordinator. That is because earlier today LSU parted ways with HC Les Miles and OC Cam Cameron.
Miles has been under fire since last season, as the football team developed a pattern of getting punched in the face by teams within the SEC and even by ones out of conference. The 18-13 loss to Auburn Saturday was the proverbial straw that broke the tiger’s back.
Despite having studs on both sides of the ball, LSU has struggled offensively(ranking 119/128 in passing yards; 111th in total offense and 110th in scoring offense) and particularly at the quarterback position. It appears that offensive line coach Ed Orgeron will be offered the familiar role of Interim Head Coach.
