Thie s New York Mets-inspired Nike Dunk High SB is part of a ”Bubble Gum” pack, along with similary themed Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers themed Dunks.
It sports a Cloud grey suede and nylon upper with the only visual variety provided by the team orange-bordered rush blue Swooshes that adorn the lateral and medial sides and the team orange ”NIKE SB” branding on the rush blue tongue label and rear pull tab.
On the rear of the tongue are tongue tags that call to Citi Field’s 7 line subway exit and the home run apple, respectively.
Underneath resides a white midsole and a gum rubber outsole with pink on the right shoe representative of the stepping in the copious amount of gum chewed by baseball players.
The ”New York Mets” Nike SB Dunk High is scheduled to release July 26 at nike.com and select skate shops. They will carry a 125 USD sticker price.
