Earlier in September is was reportered that Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma was nearing a sneaker deal with Puma. Nike, who Kuzma was with at the time, had 10 days to exercise the match clause in their deal with Kuzma if they wished to keep him on their roster.
According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, it appears that the orange-branded athletic giant will decline to exercise that clause which will pave the way for Kuzma to become Puma’s latest endorser.
At only 24, Kuzma fits in with Puma’s building their basketball roster via young and up-and-coming NBA talent.
