A shoe that plays homage to Paul George’s love of video games have become a staple of all of his signature shoes with PlayStation-themed PG1s, PG2’s and now the console inspired mockup has found a home on George’s latest shoe, the PG 2.5.
The shoe makes use of a wolf grey upper which features a wallpapering of “ Δ 🔲🔘❌” , the buttons of the PlayStation controller, wrapping around the midfoot on both the medial and lateral sides. The same pattern is repeated on the forefoot strap. The classic four color PS logo in on the tongue of the left shoe, while a blue PG logo that is similar to the glowing one on the PS PG1 is found on the right shoe.
A grey midsole with a yellow heel swoosh on the left shoe, while a red one occupies the same location on the right. The aesthetic is finished off by a blue tinted translucent outsole.
The PlayStation x Nike PG 2.5 is slated to release December 1 at nike.com and select Nike Basketball retail locations. The sticker price is set at $110 USD.
