TENNESSEE STATE 84, TREVECCA 80
NASHVILLE, Tenn
. – Tennessee State defeated visiting Trevecca, 84-80, on Monday night. 

TSU had four players reach double figures in scoring with Gia Adams leading the way with 20. Adams went 7-for-8 from the line while tallying two assists and two steals. 

Lyric Cole added 19 points and nine rebounts while Erica Haynes-Overton had 17 points and Zyion Shannon had 13. Saniah Parker and Sierra McCullough each had 10 boards in the win. 

Tennessee State is back in action on Wednesday as it travels to Chattanooga. 


EASTERN ILLINOIS 64, WESTERN ILLINOIS 62
MACOMB, Ill
.- Eastern Illinois improved to 2-0 with a 64-62 road win over Western Illinois on Monday night. 

Lariah Washington, Julia Bengston and Lyric Johnson each had a team-high 10 points. Washington also had seven boards and four assists. 

Miah Monahan led the Panthers with seven assists to go with seven boards and six points. 

Eastern Illinois will next travel to Valparaiso on Wednesday. 


UT MARTIN 73, ARKANSAS STATE 54
MARTIN, Tenn. 
– UT Martin picked up its first win of the season with a 73-54 victory over visiting Arkansas State. The Skyhawks outscored the Red Wolves 26-6 in th fourth quarter to secure the win. 

Paige Pipkin led UT Martin with 23 points on 10-of-16 shooting. She also had a pair of three-pointers and three steals. 

Shae Littleford and Kenley McCarn each had 19 points. Littleford added six assists in the win. 

UT Martin will travel to Missouri on Thursday. 


TENNESSEE TECH 75, SAMFORD 70
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. 
– Tennessee Tech defeated visiting Samford, 75-70, on Monday night. 

Anna Walker led the Golden Eagles with 25 ponts to go with five rebounds and two blocks.

Peyton Carter came off the bench to add 14 points and nine boards while Jada Guinn had 12 points and seven assists. Maaliya Owens added 10 points on the night. 

Tennessee Tech will welcome Trevecca on Thursday.
