Jordan Brand is bringing New York basketball energy to a classic silhouette. The “NY Knicks” Air Jordan 2 is reportedly scheduled to release June 9, 2027, featuring a Phantom base with orange and blue accents inspired by the New York Knicks.
The upcoming colorway adds another Knicks-inspired sneaker to Jordan Brand’s reported 2027 lineup. Early mockups suggest a mostly light-colored upper with contrasting orange detailing and blue accents around the collar, heel and outsole.
The Air Jordan 2 originally debuted in 1986. Although the silhouette has often lived in the shadow of other iconic models in the Air Jordan lineup, team-inspired colorways could give sneaker fans another reason to revisit the classic design.
