Griffin, 31, will slide into the Basketball Champions League, besides competing in Greece’s Basket League, also for the first time. Last season, he posted 17.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game for Hapoel Be’er Sheva in Israel’s Winner League.
The latest newcomer follows in Stevan Jelovac, Juan Pablo Vaulet, Quino Colom, Nikos Pappas, Giorgos Bogris, Panagiotis Filippakos, Andreas Petropoulos, and Dimitris Flionis, previous additions to the team coached by Stefanos Dedas.
The Greek team nearing the completion of the 2021-22 roster will be part of Group D of the BCL Regular Season along with Falco Szombathely, VEF Riga, and one more team surviving the qualifiers.
