Balsa Koprivica is officially a Partizan player

As was expected, Balsa Koprivica and Partizan NIS have officially joined forces with a three-year deal, the club announced.

Koprivica was a part of Partizan before moving to the USA where he played in the Nova Southwestern high school.

His father, Slavisa Koprivica was a member of the 1992 Partizan team, which won the EuroLeague when Obradovic was on his rookie year as a coach.

The former Florida State center is expected to have a key role in the roster and may end up being the last piece for Partizan, which aims to win the EuroCup and secure a spot in the EuroLeague for the 2022-23 season.

Koprivica was the 57 pick of the recent NBA draft, his rights belong to Detroit and in his last year in college, he averaged 9.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.3 steals, 1.4 blocks in 19.5 minutes.
