Puma announced the coming of their first women’s signature shoe in over ten years, the Stewie 1, made for WNBA star Breanna Stewart.
The debut colourway is dubbed “Quiet Fire”, and it is inspired by the intense yet model disposition of the WNBA MVP. This well-executed colourway sports a neon green upper, that is inspired by the North Star for her prodigious talent and her high-school squad, that transitions to a darker shade of green closer to the heel, which features a black heel counter that features two scars a callback to the two Achilles surgeries Stewart has underwent.
Underneath resides a two-toned neon green and black NITRO from midsole and a neon green and black rubber outsole.
The “Quiet Fire” Puma Stewie 1 is scheduled to debut September 16 at puma.com and select retail establishments. They will carry a 140 USD sticker price.
