Jordan Brand is a brand that can do something right and simultaneously miss a golden opportunity.
The “Raging Bull” Air Jordan 5 is reportedly making its long awaited retail return in 2021. While this is a great thing, with this year, 2020, marking the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 5, this presented the wonderful opportunity to re-release this, in its original form as part of the Toro Bravo Pack.
There are no images of the 2021 version of the “Raging Bull” but the hope is that Jordan Brand will do its level best to keeps the shoe true to its 2009 progenitor, which would be a red suede upper with a reflective tongue with a black Jumpman. Embroidered “23” and Jumpman are founded at the lower ankle and rear respectively, all atop a black midsole with red-tipped “teeth” and a black rubber and translucent outsole, completing the aesthetic.
The “Raging Bull” is slated, for the time being, to release during the spring/summer of 2021 and will carry a $190 USD sticker price.
