According to The New York Times’ Marc Stein, the Phoenix Suns will buyout center Tyson Chandler, making him a free agent. Should he be claimed on waivers, Chandler would be owed $13.6 million this year. Left unclaimed, he becomes eligible to sign with any team he chooses.
The Los Angeles Lakers are expected to sign Chandler as soon as he clears waivers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
