The Bulls relationship with their forward Jabari Parker is just one component of an already eventful season just 30 games into the season. For some unknown reason, the team recently decided to remove arguably their third-best player from their rotation, and it was clear that Parker’s day’s in the Windy City were numbered.
Several teams were interested in Parker and according to The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor, the Utah Jazz are amongst the interested ball clubs:
The Utah Jazz are one of the teams interested in Parker, according to multiple league sources. Derrick Favors is an awkward fit next to center Rudy Gobert, and his $16.9 million on the books for next season is non-guaranteed, meaning he could be one of the pieces involved. Favors can’t be traded until January 15, so Chicago would have to wait.
There is no doubt that Parker has some defensive deficiencies but he would offer the Jazz, or any other team, a capable shot creator and scorer on offense.
