Former North Carolina A&T football head coach Rod Broadway is officially headed to the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Hall of Fame.
The MEAC announced that Broadway will be part of its 2027 Hall of Fame class, giving one of the most accomplished coaches in North Carolina A&T history another well-deserved honor.
Broadway became a major figure in HBCU football during his time on the sidelines in Greensboro, building the Aggies into one of the MEAC’s premier programs.
During his tenure at North Carolina A&T, Broadway helped establish a championship culture that became synonymous with Aggie football. His teams consistently competed at a high level in the MEAC and on the national HBCU stage, cementing his place among the conference’s most respected coaches.
Broadway’s success also helped elevate the profile of North Carolina A&T football during a particularly dominant stretch for the program. His leadership, player development and ability to consistently produce championship-caliber teams made him one of the defining coaches of his era.
For Aggie fans, the Hall of Fame announcement represents another opportunity to celebrate a coach whose impact extended well beyond wins and losses.
Broadway’s legacy includes the players he coached, the championships he helped bring to North Carolina A&T and the standard he established for future generations of Aggie football.
Now, that legacy will be permanently recognized by the conference he helped shape.
Rod Broadway is officially a member of the MEAC Hall of Fame Class of 2027.
And for Aggie Nation, it’s another reason to celebrate one of the best to ever lead North Carolina A&T football.
