SIAC Softball: Albany State defeats Sewanee in opener

From Albany State Athletics;

The Jason Bryant Era at Albany State University got off to a great start as his Golden Rams beat the Sewanee Tigers 13-0 and 14-5.
 
In game 1, Mackenzie Chamblee got the win for the Golden Rams.  Chamblee pitched 4 innings scoreless innings for the Golden Rams.
 
Right fielder, Glory Seay, led the Golden Rams with 4 RBIs as she blasted a grand slam over the left field fence.  Romona McLeod and De’Laynie Hollis also had 2 RBIs, respectively.
 
In game 2, the Golden Rams got off to a slow start but rebounded to beat the Tigers 14-5.  After going scoreless in the 1st 3 innings, the Golden Rams exploded for 10 runs in the 4th.  The Golden Rams finished the game with 18 hits.
 
Kennedy Dora picked up the win for the Golden Rams.
 
Keyatta AyersSydney PettusCiweya Tennison and Tiana McFarland each had 2 RBIs in the game.
