A Memphis man is in the loving care of law enforcement after he allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of from his place of employment.
According to police, Rodergus Blakely stole $20,000 from a southeast Memphis warehouse in August. One employee used a forklift to conseal a pallet of shoes behind a dumpster. Blakely allegedly subsequently arrived in a white sedan loaded the boxes into the car and then drove off.
Blakely was arrested Tuesday, March 29 and charged with theft of property. The mystery accomplice was not named in the police report.
