Stealing from one’s own family is one of the lowest things a person can do. Terrell Robinson did not see that as a moral obstacle. The 33-year-old Budd Lake, NJ man was charged with stealing sneakers- from his sister.
According to Hopatcong police, a resident relayed to them that her mother told her brother, Robinson, had been in her room searching for change. However instead of quarters, nickels and dimes, he absconded with her brand new $110 Nike Air Huarache sneakers. Knowing Robinson had sold items to Plato’s Closet in the past, she decided to give them a call. The store did say they had the aforementioned sneakers and that her brother was the one who brought them in.
Robinson was arrested July 12 at his sister’s home and was then taken to the Sussex County Jail.
After being charged with that theft, police also discovered Mr. Robinson had a np-bail warrant for non-support in Sussex County, an outstanding $1,000 warrant for failure to appear on possession of paraphernalia inTotowa Borough and two from Mount Olive Township for failure to appear- one is a $750 on possession of controlled substances and the other , a $750 on possession of drug paraphernalia.
