Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Pair sought in NC sneaker robbery

According to law enforcement in Lincolnton, North Carolina are looking for two individuals that robbed two people who were selling them sneakers.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detective D. Hendrix stated the seller and a friend arrangements through social media to sell sneakers valued at $640. The meeting took place in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart located at 7131 NC 73 Hwy on November 17 at approximately 3:30 pm.

While the seller was showing the shoes both suspects pulled guns with extended magazines and demanded the sneakers as well as any money the two may have had. The seller did not have any cash, nonetheless, the robbers relieved the seller of the shoes and drove off in a black Honda, but the seller/victim was unable to provide law enforcement in which direction they drove.

The first suspect us described as a 6-foot tall black male with wavy hair. He wore dental braces and had on a grey hoodie and gray jeans.

The second suspect is a shorter black male wearing a grey hoodie with what could have been purple pants with a white stripe down the side.
