Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Shoplifter takes two pairs of kicks from NJ shop

Police in Montclair, New Jersey are on the hunt for a male that stole sneakers from a local store.

According to an employee of Sneakers and Cream, at approximately 5:20 p.m. on May 13 a cantankerous and possibly intoxicated male entered the store. Shortly thereafter a verbal altercation between the said man and the employee ensued that stemmed from the price of a sweatshirt. The suspect then proceeded to take two pairs of sneakers, the “What The” Air Jordan 5 in a size 10.5 and the “Beige” Adidas Yeezy 380, size 7.5, which are valued at a combined $500 and a camouflage cap, valued at $30.

The male suspect was last seen wearing a grey hoodie with white and red lettering black jeans, traveling westbound on foot down Bloomfield Avenue.
