The latest edition of sneaker-related depravity takes us to Shirley, New York. It is here in the hamlet of approximately 28,000 in Suffolk County where two thieves brought a child with them to steal sneakers.
Surveillance photographs show the two suspects, a man and a woman, whom police said stole three pair of shoes from a Famous Footwear in Shirley.
The young child that one of the thieves was carrying appeared to be around eight years old. After swiping the shoes, the child-toting bandits fled in a Ford minivan with a partial license plate with the letters CAM.
