Patta x Air Jordan 7 releases early

Earlier we gave a look at one of two Air Jordan 7s that are the result of a collaboration between Jordan Brand and Amsterdam based sneaker and streetwear shop Patta. The Shimmer/Tough Red-Velvet Brown colorway as well the Icicle/Sequoia-River Rock-Light Crimson colorway are both set to drop in June of this year, however the Shimmer version released earlier today at Patta’s Amsterdam location. A wider release will still take place in June. The pair pictured is currently up for auction on eBay.

A First Look at the Patta x Air Jordan 7

Jordan Brand and Amsterdam-based streetwear and sneaker shop Patta are joining forces to birth two new colorways of the Air Jordan 7. One makes use of a Icicle/Sequoia/River Rock/Light Crimson color palette and the other Shimmer/Tough Red-Velvet Brown. Although there are no images of the former, we do have that of the latter. First Look at the “Reflective Cardinal” Air Jordan 7

The “Cardinal”. Air Jordan 7 is a solid and well-respected amongst the pantheon of original Air Jordan colorways. So in a textbook case of fixing something that was not broken, the Cardinal 7 will be re-re-re-releasing- this time with reflective uppers in place of its traditional white leather. First Look: “Ray Allen” Air Jordan 7

Ray Allen is one of the foundational members of the Jordan Brand roster, having been signed with the Brand since 1997. Back in 2002, when he ran with the Milwaukee Bucks, Allen wore two player exclusive Air Jordan 7, a white leather based “home” version, and a black based “away” model. Reflective “Cardinal” Air Jordan 7 rumoured to release in April

The “Cardinal” Air Jordan 7 has been reintroduced a few times since it originally released way back in 1992. However, someone at Jordan Brand decided that bringing it back in its original form this time wasn’t good enough, and it needed to be “jazzed up.” According to @zsneakerheadz, this upcoming version will ditch the traditional white leather upper for a reflective “3M” material. Every year as part of the partnership between Nike and the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, six youngsters get to put on their designer caps and put their own spin on Nike silhouettes. There is always an Air Jordan as a component of the collection,and this year is no different. This energetic appearance of this Air Jordan VII is inspired by a sweater MJ wore in a classic McDonalds commercial that co-starred Larry Bird. This incarnation of the Air Jordan VII is mostly white with the overlays colored in the same style as the sweater rocked in that iconic television spot.
