ANDRE Drummond is many things: a multiple-time NBA All-Star, a multiple-time rebounding champion, and an All-NBA performer However, above all of that he is a father and that was on display when he saved the life of his young son. Drummond and loved ones were enjoying a relaxing poolside day when his young son fell into the pool. With almost instantaneous reaction, Drummond was in the pool to rescue his son. Andre Drummond to play against Mavericks

Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond will play and get the start tonight tonight in the team’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. He was placed in concussion protocol shortly thereafter, which he cleared on Thursday. Drummond is pulling in a league-leading 14.9 rebounds per game to go along with 16.3 points.
