Chicago Bulls announced their 2024-25 preseason schedule

The Chicago Bulls have released their preseason schedule. The five-game tilt features two road games and three at the friendly confines of the United Center.  Things get started with a Tuesday, October 8 road matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Next is playing host to the Memphis Grizzlies on October 12.  October 14 the Bulls will be the guests of division foe Milwaukee Bucks. Russell Westbrook inks 2-year, $6.8 million deal with Nuggets

Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, Westbrook and the Denver Nuggets have agreed to a two-year, $6.8 million deal. Westbrook was dealt to the Utah Jazz on July 18 but was waived two days later. His move to Denver had been reported since the initial deal that allowed the LA Clippers to work a sign-and-trade deal with the Jazz to acquire guard Kris Dunn.

Clippers trade Rusell Westbrook to Jazz, expected to end up in Denver

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Russell Westbrook has been traded to the Utah Jazz (again). The Jazz are expected to buy Westbrook out, paving the way for the former MVP to join the Denver Nuggets.  TNT Sports’ Chris Haynes reported Kris Dunn will agree to a 3-year, $4 million deal with the Clippers. Kobe Bryant’s father, Joe “Jellybean” Bryant passes at age 69

Former NBA player Joe “Jellybean” Bryant, the father of Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant, has died. He was 69. An official cause of Bryant’s death was not announced as of Tuesday morning. Chicago Bulls are in East Group C for 2024 NBA Cup

The Bulls will compete in East Group C along with the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards.
