This iteration of the Nike Book 1 draws inspiration from the Nike Cortez that Forrest Gump wore when he decided to do a bit of running.  They sport a smooth white leather upper adorned on the sides with large, red Swooshes; the same hue also is present at the Nike and Book branding that is perched atop each respective tongue, but also at the Cortez-styled rear heel overlay. ”Barely Grape” Nike Book 1 coming this July

Is upcoming iteration of the Nike Book 1 sports a barely grape suede annd synthetic upper with reflective detailing. The glossy nests of the side Swooshes as well as the collar ads needed visual variety to the otherwise matte appearance of the rest of the upper. Book 1 branding appears on the front side of the tongue, while on the back features the first initials of the members of Booker’s family.
