DeWanna Bonner and the Phoenix Mercury have agreed to a contract buyout, the team announced Monday. Bonner, 38, returned to Phoenix in 2025 after beginning her WNBA career with the Mercury as the No. 5 overall pick in the 2009 WNBA Draft. She spent her first 10 seasons with the franchise before being traded to the Connecticut Sun in 2020.
