Courtesy of Tennessee State Athletics ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Elaina Housworth’s successful indoor track and field season ended on Saturday evening as she earned her first career All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. The junior from Covington, Ga., was the only Tigerbelle to make the NCAA Championships as she competed in the triple jump. Courtesy of Tennessee State Athletics NASHVILLE – Tennessee State track and field’s Elaina Housworth was named the Ohio Valley Conference Female Field Athlete of the Week after her performances in the long jump and triple jump at the Edmonds-Wilt Invite and the Ed Temple Classic. In her first meet of the season at the Edmonds-Wilt Invite, the Covington Ga., native recorded a first place finish out of eight in the triple jump after finishing with a leap of 12.34.
