ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Elaina Housworth’s successful indoor track and field season ended on Saturday evening as she earned her first career All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The junior from Covington, Ga., was the only Tigerbelle to make the NCAA Championships as she competed in the triple jump. Housworth finished with a leap of 13.11m to finish in 16th place.
Housworth and the Tigerbelles will now shift their focus to the outdoor season which is set to begin on March 23-25, as they will head to Atlanta to compete in the Morehouse Relays.
