TSU’s Adams and Haynes-Overton earn Conference Honors

Tennessee State’s Gia Adams earns OVC Player of the Week Honours

The Ohio Valley Conference announced that Tennessee State sophomore guard Gia Adams was named its Player of the Week. In two games last week, against Fisk and Kansas City, the Jersey Village product averaged 23.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals in helping the Lady Tigers to a 1-1 record. Tennessee State Lady Tigers picked 5th in OVC Preseason Poll, Gia Adams named to All-OVC Preseason team
