Greek national team cuts five players

Ahead of their friendly matchup against Spain on Tuesday, the Hellenic Basketball Federation announced the opening round of cuts from their training camp. Coach Dmitirs Itoudis let go Lefteris Mantzoukas, Omiros Netzipoglou, Girogos Tanoulis, Giogos Tsalmpouris. The Brothers Antetokounmpo was broken up as Alex Antetokounmpo was also one the initial cuts. The Greek Basketball Federation announced their 23-man roster for the 2022 EuroBasket and the 2023 World Cup Qualifiers and it is nearly 20 percent Antetokounmpo.
