As reported by The Athletic’s Anthony Slater, Golden State Warriors superstar forward Kevin Durant, will not play in the team’s Wednesday game against the Houston Rockets. Durant suffered an ankle injury in the team’s 115-111 loss to the Phoenix Suns. Monday it was reported by Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle that KD was day-to-day. Ricky Rubio out tonight versus Memphis

Utah Jazz point guard Ricky Rubio will miss their game Friday night against the Memphis Grizzlies with a hip issue. The team listed Rubio on their injury report as out with left hip tightness. Another side effect of Rubio’s injury is it now leaves the team without a healthy point guard on the roster( an incidence that has now occurred seven times this season), as fellow point guards, Dante Exum and Raul Neto are also out with injuries.

The injury bug has kicked the New Orleans Pelicans in the tooshie again. The ballclub announced earlier today that guard E’Twaun Moore will be out at least 7-10 days with a left quadriceps tendon he has been battling and now it appears they will be without point guard Jrue Holiday for at least that same amount of time. Kyrie Irving will not be in the lineup when the Boston Celtics take on the Sacramento Kings Wednesday night. Klay Thompson out against Celtics with knee soreness

Defending NBA champ Golden State Warriors star two guard Klay Thompson will miss the team’s Tuesday night game against the Boston Celtics with right knee soreness, according to Nick Friedell of ESPN.  This is the second consecutive contest Thompson has missed with this same issue. Despite some up-and down play offensively, Thompson is averaging 22.0 points , 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists on 47% from the floor. Thompson is an integral piece to the Warriors’ drive to three-peat.
