“Afrobeats” Air Jordan 7 SE: Official Images

The Air Jordan VII turned 30 this year and in recognition of that milestone, Jordan Brand is releasing a plethora of colorways, one of them being the ”Afrobeats.” It sports a vachetta tan upper with debossed Jumpman on the lateral ankle and one on the heel similar to that seen on 2010’s Bin 23 Jordan 7. Underneath the aforementioned upper resides concord and taxi accented black midsole and multicolored rubber outsole. The ”Afrobeats” Air Jordan 7 SE is planned to debut this October. “Paprika” Air Jordan 8 coming this fall

The ”Paprika” Air Jordan 8 started its life off as a children’s sample back in 1993. It never progressed past the sample stage but it appears that will change this fall. Sporting a white, black and red color palette, it eschews the traditional chenille tongue and multi color rear foot overlays for a more standard Jumpman-emblazoned tongue and toothed-patterned overlays, respectively. This upper sits atop a red midsole and white and black rubber outsole. The ”Paprika” Air Jordan 8 is scheduled to release 23 September 2022 at nike.com and select…

“Ginger” Air Jordan 14: Official Images

The upcoming “Ginger” Air Jordan 14 is a mid-collared interpretation of the 1999 lowered collared original. The rationale for not simply releasing them in their original form is both confounding and mystifying ,which means its par for the course for Jordan Brand. This reimagined version of a long ignored original is planned to release August 17; they will carry a 200 USD sticker price. Official images of the “Ginger “ Air Jordan 14 can be seen below. An initial look at the “Afrobeats” Air Jordan 7 SE

The ”AfroBeats” is one of a myriad of colorways of the Air Jordan 7 that will release in 2022 in commemoration of the model’s 30th anniversary. As indicated by the nickname, this Air Jordan 7 is inspired by Aftobeats. For the unaware, Afrobeats is a musical genre that is the fusion of West African musical styles with that of the Foundational Black American genres of funk, jazz and soul. This Air Jordan 7 tan upper with lateral ankle debossed Jumpman and pattern wrapping the heel. What appears to be a…

Jordan Brand officially unveils the Air Jordan XXXVII

Although we have already seen images of the shoe, Jordan Brand officially introduced the Air Jordan XXXVII to world Wednesday. Unfortunately these images did nothing to assuage my overall siappoinment in its aesthetic. It seems the XXXVII is the latest sneaker edition to be a letdown after a high point in the series. This occurrence is not foreign to the Air Jordan line, as the XV was a clear step back from the masterpiece that was the Air Jordan XIV. At its upper, the XXXVII makes use of the next…

An initial look at the “Off-Noir” Air Jordan 5 Gore Tex

Typically winterized versions of silhouettes are noting to write home about but I must admit with these Air Jordan 5s, Jordan Brand may have a hit on their hands. The signature reflective tongue is home to a fire red Jumpman, with the same branding present on the rear heel and coloration on the lace locks. “GORETEX appears on the left lower…
