This upcoming Lebron 16 has a Los Angeles Lakers flavor. It features a purple Battleknit 2.0 upper with a light blue heel wrap that has the years of the franchise’s NBA championship stitched on it. This Lebron 16 was inspired by the 1988 OG Bo Jackson Air Trainer 3 “Medicine Ball”. This sneaker features a white based knit upper with overlays that give it the look of the Air Trainer 3, topped off by the forefoot strap traversed by “NIKE” in block lettering. The “home” colorway of Lebron James’ third signature shoe is the second original colorway that will see a return to retail. This version features the white and black leather of the original, but unlike the 2005 version, this pair eschews varsity red, opting for a varsity crimson hue.
