Four people shot in shooting outside of Washington Nationals’ stadium

From Jordan Williams of The Hill Four people appear to have been shot outside of Washington Nationals Park in D.C. Saturday night, according to law enforcement.  The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department announced on Twitter that two people were shot in the 1500 block of South Capitol Street, SW. “This is currently an active investigation and it appears there is no ongoing threat at this time,” the Department tweeted. Nike and Major League Baseball announce 10-year deal

Friday, Major League Baseball and Nike announced they had reached a ten-year agreement that will make the athletic giant the officials provider of on-field apparel and merchandise beginning in 2020. Baltimore, Maryland based Under Armour struck a ten-year deal with Major League Baseball to be the uniform provider, but had to back out of the deal. They will remain one of MLB’s footwear providers.
