SWAC announces time coordinates and location for 2025 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Media Day

The SWAC announced the dates for its 2025 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Media Day. The annual event will take place October 7-8 at the Embassy Suites in Birmingham, Alabama.  Beginning at 10 A.M. on both days, Media Day brings together coaches and a pair of players from each member institution to speak with the media regarding the upcoming 2025-26 season.  The conference will also announce the 2026-26 predicted order of finish for both the men’s and women’s sides.  A complete list of the attending student-athletes will be released at a…

SWAC announces changes to ESPN Men’s Basketball broadcast schedule

From the Southwestern Athletic Conference: The Southwestern Athletic Conference has announced an adjustment to its men’s basketball ESPN broadcast schedule for the 2020-21 season.  The league’s nationally televised schedule will now feature the Grambling State at Southern men’s basketball game slated for Saturday, February 6 live on ESPNU at 7:00 pm CST.  The SWAC’s nationally televised lineup for men’s basketball is highlighted by three remaining regular season contests along with the 2021 Cricket Wireless SWAC Men’s Basketball Tournament scheduled to be carried live on ESPN platforms.
