Saturday the Oklahoma City Thunder waived guard Alex Abrines, ending his three year tenure with the ballclub. Abrines and the team agreed to mutually part ways so he could more fully devote his time and attention to a personal matter that had caused him to miss 19 of the last 22 games. Pelicans trade Mirotic to Bucks

Finally, the New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to a trade…for Nikola Mirotic. The team has agreed to send the flloor-spreading power forward to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for big man Jason Smith and small forward Stanley Johnson. Pelicans and Lakers have spoken regarding Anthony Davis

Thursday, the Los Angeles Times’ Brad Turner reported the Lakers presented the Pelicans with five various trade scenarios. One of the proposed deal included Los Angeles sending Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac, and first round pick to the Pelicans for their all-world forward/center.
