Yesterday the New Orleans Pelicans announced that rookie sensation Zion Williamson would not play in the team’s preseason finale today against the New York Knicks due knee soreness. It it believed to not be serious but according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pelicans are erring on the side of caution and Williamson will miss the first few weeks of the season. Warriors to sign Marquese Chriss

Marquese Chriss has reached an agreement with the Golden State Warriors. According to Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes, the 8th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, has agreed on a one year deal. After being traded from the Houston Rockets to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chriss’ scoring tripled ( from 1.8 ppg to 5.7 ppg ) and his rebounds and minutes increased ( 1.8 rpg to 4.2 rpg and 6.5 mpg to 14.6 mpg).

From their inaugural season in 1995 until 1998, the Toronto Raptors sported these purple jerseys that featured their large , at the time , dinosaur logo at the center of the uni. As the upcoming season will be their 25th ( it’s hard to believe it has been that long), they are bringing back the classic dino gamers for an as yet unspecified number of games. They made the announcement via a video on the team’s twitter account.
