FAMU’s women’s hoops leading scorer has a new home

In her two seasons at FAMU, Dylan Horton has scored 727 points but her next collegiate basket will not be for the Rattlers. Horton, who led the team in scoring over the past two years, entered the transfer portal back in late March as a graduate transfer with a year of eligibilty remaining. Courtesy of CNN’s Cheri Mossburg, Dakin Andone, Tina Burnside, Officials in Davis, California, have lifted an overnight shelter-in-place order after they were unable to find a suspect in a knife attack late Monday – the third such incident following two fatal stabbings in less than a week near the campus of the University of California, Davis.  The startling order not to venture out followed Monday’s stabbing, which left a woman in critical condition. Miami ( OH) women’s basketball coach DeUnna Hendrix resigned last week after an investigation into alleged misconduct, according to a university spokesperson. The Milwaukee Bucks are now in the market for a new head basketball coach after showing Mike Budenholzer the door. Despite winning at least 51 games in four of his five seasons and compiling a 271-120 record, according to reporting from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the team fired him Thursday afternoon.
