Founded in 1881, Morris Brown has been a pillar amongst HBCUs. However recent history has not been kind to the Wolverines. David Oliver is a decorated athlete, winning a bronze medal in the 110 Hurdles at the medals at the Beijing Olympics in 20028. He also took gold in the 60 Meter Hurdles at the USA Indoor Championships in the same year. Oliver took bronze the same event at the 2010 World Championships and claimed the gold in the 110 hurdles at the 2013 World Championships. Via the Associated Press Maya Moore has officially decided to retire from playing basketball. The Minnesota Lynx great stepped away from the WNBA in 2019 to help her now-husband Jonathan Irons win his release from jail by getting his 50-year sentence overturned in 2020. After gaining his release, Irons married Moore soon after and the couple had their first child, Jonathan Jr., in July.
