Courtesy of Curtis Ford, Grambling State Athletics The Grambling State University women’s soccer team has been picked to finish first in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) preseason poll, announced by the conference on Monday morning.  The Tigers enter the 2024 season fresh off a dominating 2023 campaign that saw them win the SWAC Tournament and go unbeaten in conference play. Tarik Cohen retires from football, ends comeback bid

Despite him saying he “definitely” feels all the way back earlier this week, former North Carolina A&T running back Tarik Cohen has announced his retirement from the game of football.  After a stellar career at NCAT that saw him leave as MEAC’s all-time leading rusher with 5,619 yards, while also setting school records for rushing touchdowns (56), total touchdowns (59), and points, Cohen was drafted in the 4th round, 119th overall, by the Chicago Bears in the 2017 NFL Draft. We recently highlighted Jewell Loyd rocking a red iteration of the “USA” Kobe IV Protro in Olympic action and now fellow Olympian and two-time NBA Champion Jrue Holiday was spotted in a white-based iteration of these Kobes.  Its white upper is spread across a combination of leather and FlyWire-equipped side panels.
